Didn't the original black and gold have an issue with the material becoming worn away easily? You can see on mine where I put my hand.

yeup you can see on mine where I had it. that bottles only a year old but it gets daily use.

I've been thinking of getting another but I can't remember if they fixed that issue.

I'm pretty sure they'll replace the worn one for free And by replace I mean they send you a new one and you also keep the old one

they have a warning on their site, so no I don't think they would

ftr, as an interesting note it actually held up to daily use for a year... until I tossed it in a suitcase to take with me on vacation. when I got back all the paint where my hands normally touch was just GONE

it's fine it just becomes the stealth pattern over time
