There's nothing you can do to reattach it, but as long as it stays green, it is still alive and photosynthesizing for the plant, and should be kept intact. If it begins to yellow or brown, then you can the leaf or petiole off with clean shears.

You can build a really nice press with 2 plywood plates and 2 tension belts. I recommend using newspaper and felt in layers and after every layer you can put the leave on 2 layers of thin paper ( idk the English name sorry). And then you can press it. I reconment using a heating lamp for faster drying. But you only really need this when you pressing flower. By faster drying the colour gets preserver better. I still have some herbars from 5 years ago and the flowers still have beautiful bright colours. It's a really fun way to preserve memories from places you visited. Fun hobby :)

I would personally try taping it. With clear packing tape- Call me crazy but I get attached.
